Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire, equip, and send faithful followers of Jesus.

God is already at work in our neighborhoods, communities, and organizations. Through fresh perspectives, Biblical insight, and fellowship with one another we seek to be inspired by what God has done through Jesus and follow his example through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe life is better in community. As a church body, every person plays a part in our mission. We are equipped to understand our calling of what it means to live faithfully as a disciple of Jesus. In our busy world we need to be equipped in order to thrive with the hope that Jesus provides.

Our God is a sending, missional, and incarnational God. Over and over again, God has sent people to fulfill promises, provide love, seek justice for the oppressed, and care for all people. We believe our community has been called to continue that work by living the good news in our local communities, expanded neighborhoods, and beyond. We are all sent to be the church by serving and loving others.

What we love more than anything about KofK is that, while we were welcomed with open arms...

“Our family joined King of Kings (KofK) two years ago. The KofK community is welcoming and open and our 8 year-old son absolutely adores Pastor Lynn and Miss Judi! What we love more than anything about KofK is that, while we were welcomed with open arms, we never felt like were “just checking” the box and went to services only on Sunday. We go to numerous church activities and feel a genuine sense of belonging when we participate in these activities and services.”
