Calling all kiddos, Kindergarten through sixth grade. The kids fiber arts group will be meeting in the music room, immediately following church service on the second Sunday of each month. We will work on beginner projects, and supplies will be provided. We welcome all kiddos with their parents and will teach beginners how to knit and crochet. Parents should contact Sherri Redden if their children are interested, so that kits can be prepared. Calling all knitters and crocheters! The fiber arts group will be meeting in the music room, immediately following church service. Come join us in making prayer shawls, caps for the Hypothermia Shelter, or work on your own project. We’re always looking for new people to join our time of fun and fellowship, so whether you’ve been knitting and crocheting for years or you’ve never done it before, we’ll be happy to have you with us and get you started! The adult fiber arts group is open to adults and youth (grades six and higher). This year, the Community Thanksgiving Service will be hosted by Pender United Methodist Church. Take part in this opportunity to give thanks for the many blessings that God has given us. This is a special time of worship in which neighbors from Chantilly Baptist, Ox Hill Baptist, Christ Presbyterian, King of Kings Lutheran, and Pender United Methodist Churches come together to share in praise and thanksgiving. A special offering will be collected to support WFCM.
