Chili and Soup Cook-Off
We are thrilled to announce our 2nd Annual King of Kings Chili & Soup Cook-Off, an event that brings together those who need a little spice in their lives, heartfelt fellowship, and a spirit of friendly competition.
Winners in each category will receive an EXTRAVAGANT (well, maybe not that extravagant) prize and bragging rights till next year's cook-off.
There will be activities for the entire family, including: taste testing all the wonderful chili and soup entries, yummy cornbread muffins, desserts, silent auction, and more.
For the kids, we will have supervised care with kid games, arts & crafts, and other activities. If the "Young Ones" don't want to taste the chili or soup we will provide chicken nuggets and mac-n-cheese.
Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for each family attending to help support our local food banks. Each family donating a food item will be entered into a raffle to win a gift card at a local restaurant. Also, a goodwill offering will be collected to support our homeless shelter in January.

The Secrets of the Blue Pig
A workshop to teach your children about saving, spending, and sharing
When: Sunday, October 18 after worship
Who: All K-6 youth (with one parent attending)
What: a time of fellowship and learning

LYO Fall Kickoff
The King of Kings Youth group will meet for a fall kickoff event! We will meet in the fellowship hall for dinner and a live AmongUs game. You can sign up and see event details here. As always, friends are welcome!
Oktoberfest
Join us for Oktoberfest on October 3 from 5-8PM! This is an adult fellowship event so please feel free to invite your friends and neighbors! If you are in need of childcare, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We will try to accommodate.

Kings Fermentation Community
The Kings Fermentation Community will be gathering on August 15th from around 9am-4pm in the parking lot outside Fellowship Hall. We will be brewing beers for the upcoming KofK Oktoberfest event. All are welcome - bring yourself, spouse, family, and/or friends as well as any food or beverage you would like to share with the group.

Brunch Bunch
Brunch Bunch is a great cross-campus opportunity with Dulles South that lets us share in fellowship, a lot of laughter, and a delicious meal together. We will go to Lazy Dog Restaurant in Chantilly, across from Wegman's. We have reserved outdoor seating and the restaurant is prepared for separate checks. Please RSVP to Fran or Pastor Garrett so we can let the restaurant know how many to expect. All are welcome.
