Adults

From volunteerism and service, to food and beverages, there’s something for adults of all ages at King of Kings!

Sunday Adult Forum

Each Sunday at 9am adults and youth (grades 7-12) are invited for an “adult Sunday school.” The Forum explores a range of topics such as social issues, what it means to be a member of the Lutheran Church, scripture, and spiritual practices. All are welcome to check out this diverse and engaging hour.

Bible Studies

Adults are enriched spiritually throughout the week during Bible studies. We currently have one adult Bible study on Friday mornings at 9:30am. For more information please Jim & Ruthann McDivitt.

Brunch and Lunch Events

Kings of Kings offers lots of events featuring food and fellowship. On the last Wednesday of the month, members of our Lunch and Learn bring a lunch to the Fellowship Hall for a movie and discussion.

Our Chantilly campus and Dulles South campus regularly join together at a local restaurant after Sunday worship for a group brunch.

Knitting Fellowship

Our Knit and Crochet Group meets once a month after Sunday worship to make prayer shawls for members in need of comfort. Both novice and experienced knitters are welcome!

We periodically host card making or bring-your-own craft opportunities for those looking for fellowship while they work on their hobbies.

King’s Fermentation Community

Adults who have an interest in preparing a variety of fermented beverages gather monthly to learn, share, and taste. The group works together to produce their own brews and takes adult field trips to local breweries.

Special Events

Throughout the year, adults also have the opportunity to take part in parties, retreats, service, and more!
