King of Kings Preschool Staff
Our staff members are chosen for their warmth and understanding of young children. Our teachers are college educated and have work experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. Continuing education is required for all employees to remain current on new ideas and changes in the field. In addition, all employees have background checks and certification in CPR and First Aid.
Above all, our teachers LOVE children and have a passion for fostering early learning!

Lori Colonna - Director
I have been a staff member at King of Kings for 20 years and two years as a parent before that. I have worked in almost every staff position possible here at the school and in every case, I have worked with an incredible group of dedicated, professional, and loving teachers and staff. We care deeply for the children and families that come to our school. King of Kings is my home away from home and the place I discovered my calling of playing, learning, and making incredible discoveries with children in our care.
Ashely Deysher - Teacher - Ducklings
My children attended King of Kings between 2018 and 2022. They still talk about how much they loved preschool. The staff was very welcoming and treated all of the children with patience and kindness. I liked that most staff members lived in surrounding neighborhoods, adding to the community feeling in the school. I volunteered in classrooms and even joined the Preschool Board. Eventually a teaching position opened and I did not hesitate to join the staff! I’m now happily in my sixth year teaching at King of Kings.

My four children attended King of Kings and had wonderful learning experiences. They felt so loved and supported and enjoyed going to preschool. The compassionate teachers created a safe, nurturing, warm, and joyful learning environment. I am very grateful to the preschool staff for the gentle way they helped my children learn, play, grow, and have the very best first school experience.

Both of my children attended King of Kings and greatly enjoyed their time there. I did not have any concerns when it was time to move on to Kindergarten. I always enjoyed volunteering in the classroom and also served on the preschool board for several years. I have been a staff member since 2023.

I've worked at King of Kings Preschool since 2017. I have a masters degree in nursing administration but after raising my 3 children I knew I wanted to work in a preschool. King of Kings Preschool provides such a loving, nurturing environment that I can't imagine working anywhere else. Guiding the children as they play, create, sing, dance and grow truly fills my heart with joy. Each day that I enter I know that I have found my happy place.

I have worked at King of Kings Preschool since 2022. My oldest child started at King of Kings the year before I joined the staff. He had such a good experience that I gladly accepted a position at the school when one became available. All 3 of my children have now attended King of Kings Preschool, and they all loved it. I enjoy working here because it’s such a nice school environment full of wonderful students and staff.

I have been a staff member at King of Kings since 2021, working as both an assistant teacher and lead teacher over the years. My own children are all King of Kings graduates so the preschool has been part of my family's life for over a decade. As a parent, the preschool provided a friendly, safe place where my children could learn and grow, and it offered the opportunity to connect with other families whose children were the same age.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic musical year with all of the classes. We will explore songs, creative movement, instruments, games, and have a fun time as we learn.
