Welcome to LYO at King of Kings
The Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO) at King of Kings is a vibrant, welcoming community designed for youth in grades 6 through 12. We believe that young people are not just the future of the church—they are an essential part of the church today.
Through weekly gatherings, service projects, retreats, and fun social outings, LYO provides a safe and engaging space where teens can ask real questions, explore their faith, and make meaningful connections with peers and dedicated leaders.
What We Do
Our youth ministry revolves around three core pillars that guide everything from our Sunday nights to summer trips.
Faith & Discipleship
Interactive Bible studies, small group discussions, and discussions on navigating real-life middle and high school challenges through a Christian lens.
Community & Fellowship
Game nights, retreat trips, lock-ins, and shared meals that help students build supportive, Christ-centered friendships that last.
Service & Outreach
Hands-on local community service, food pantry volunteering, and annual summer mission trips where youth put their faith into action.
